16 сентября, исполняется 25 лет со дня выхода на экраны кинотеатров фильма Дэвида Линча "Синий бархат".

К этому юбилею режиссер Бенедикт Р. Фэнси (Benedict R. Fancy) решил приурочить съемки полнометражного документального фильма, который будет называться "It's a Strange World" ("Это странный мир").

Как говорят авторы, они намерены задействовать в фильме оригинальные места съемок, которые станут фоном для интервью с участниками съемочной группы "Синего бархата". Нас ждут рассказы и воспоминания о всем недолгом съемочном периоде - Линч и компания уложились тогда всего в 24 съемочных дня.

Кроме того, в процессе подготовки к съемкам команда Бенедикта Фэнси обнаружила некоторые удивительные предметы реквизита. Эти предметы станут основой фильма, сделав его уникальным в ряду подобных документальных проектов.

Выход фильма "It's a Strange World" пока запланирован на 2012 год.
