Падает реактивный самолет и пилот в последний момент успевает катапультироваться. В это время в районе падения истребителя ехал мужик на телеге с собачонкой.

Приземляется пилот и видит, что собачке от взрыва задние ножки оторвало:
- Бедненькая, плохо тебе, - достает табельный пистолет и добивает животное, чтобы не мучалось.

Смотрит дальше - лошадь лежит с разорванным брюхом:
- Бедненькая, не мучайся больше, - достает табельный пистолет и добивает лошадь.

Мужик, подгребая под себя оторванные ноги:
